You’ve seen the photos, you’ve heard the snorts, and you’ve definitely seen the occasional kitchen mishap. If there is one thing Lola and Mabel have taught me, it’s that the way to a pug’s heart (and their health) is through the kitchen. Today, I am so thrilled to finally pull back the curtain on a project that we have been working on: “Cooking with Lola and Mabel.”
Why I Started Cooking for the Girls
Let’s be real—the pet treat aisle can be a bit of a mystery. I wanted to know exactly what was going into my dogs’ bellies, especially when it comes to managing those sensitive pug tummies. I started experimenting with wholesome ingredients, and what began as a few “cheesy training bite” tests turned into a full-blown passion project.
What’s Inside the Kitchen? This isn’t just a list of recipes; it’s your guide to becoming a home-chef for your best friend. In this cook book edition, you’ll find:
- Wholesome Favorites: Recipes like our signature salmon bones (the ultimate high-value reward!).
- Safety First: Because we are all about that Pug-Health-First mentality, I’ve included essential guides on ingredients—what’s safe, what’s a hard “no,” and how to manage portion control for our sturdy little friends.
- Pug-Tested, Mama-Approved: Every recipe in this book has been vetted, taste-tested, and thoroughly “snorted at” by Lola and Mabel themselves.
What formats is the Cookbook available in?
Digital – Maybe not for everyone but I wanted this to be accessible, easy to search, and ready for you to pull up on your tablet or phone right while you’re standing at the stove. It’s designed to be clean, professional, and super easy to follow—even if you’re balancing a wiggly pug under your feet at the same time. You can buy the Cookbook directly here through Paypal
BUT….. we also have a Paperback version on Amazon which is FANTASTIC!!
